Hospital Housekeeper Rules of Conduct

Video outlines the “dos" and "don'ts" that housekeepers should follow on every assignment. The "do's" include: customer relations, respect, working quietly, reporting mistakes and breakage, security rules, burglar/fire alarms, conservation of supplies, knowledge of equipment, organization of supply closet, mops, buckets, wringers, dress code, health and safety requirements, MSDS, safety glasses, shoes and gloves, talking to supervisors and ordering supplies.

The "don'ts" include: harassing, intimidating, threatening, arguing, fighting, profanity, theft, undesignated rest areas, smoking, visitations of friends, absences and tardiness, alcohol and illegal drugs, firearms, sleeping and radios.
